The Near Northeast Community Area Plan will capture the community's goals and priorities related to land use, mobility, housing, economic development, and public amenities. The purpose of the plan is to help guide how the Near Northeast area grows in the future.
Please join us in 2026 to provide your input and shape the direction of the plan. The dates, times, and locations of community meetings and other engagement events will be posted to this site and SASpeakUp as soon as the information is available. In the meantime, please click on the "Resources" tab above to review materials, presentations, and summaries from past meetings.

Planning Process
Development of the Near Northeast Community Area Plan originally commenced in mid-2017. Following the COVID-19 Pandemic interruption, the planning process is now expected to continue through early 2023.Click here to learn more about how the Plan is developed.
